JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for supervising field activities and tasks performed by workers and contractors.

FUNTIONS

  • Supervise work performed by field personnel in assigned work fronts.

  • Support the Senior Drilling Coordinator in building drilling platforms by providing labor as needed.

  • Locate drilling platforms and set DIP and azimuth (drilling direction) on drilling machines.

  • Coordinate logistics across different work fronts.

  • Coordinate and request required materials and tools for fieldwork.

  • Ensure exploration fieldwork is carried out only in areas authorized by the landowner.

  • Report to the immediate supervisor all field activities and details.

HEALTH AND SAFETY RESPONSABILITIES

  • Comply with and enforce the provisions of the Company's Internal Health and Safety Regulations and work procedures.
  • Apply the company's established risk management tools.
  • Report substandard acts and conditions and identify the risks associated with their activities.
  • Actively participate in Health and Safety programs and activities.

Strengthen the organization’s culture of environmental responsibility by complying with the guidelines of the Integrated Management System and ensuring that all activities related to the role are carried out under criteria of sustainability, fulfillment of commitments, pollution prevention, and environmental protection. Likewise, use resources efficiently and promptly report any deviation, incident, or situation that may affect environmental performance.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE

2-3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

 

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE

1 to 3 years of experience in similar roles.

KNOWLEDGE

Ability to work at heights and in extreme and varied climatic conditions.
Adaptability to working conditions in remote and extreme areas.
Experience in camp environments and rotations (14x14, 28x14).
Knowledge of first aid and rescue.
Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of specialized software (AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Leapfrog, Vulcan, SAP).

LICENSES

Type B License: Allows driving cars and trucks with trailers of up to 1.75 tons of payload.
