Role Purpose:
Ensure the efficient operation of the computerized inventory control system, meeting planned operational requirements. Also, ensure the proper reception, handling, and storage of materials, ensuring compliance with documented procedures and current regulations through the use of inventory management systems.
Duties:
Operational Management: Coordination of receiving and inventory control teams, ensuring the proper use of technological tools (SAP WM/IM) and compliance with established procedures.
Quality Control: Implementation of quality control measures to ensure inventory accuracy and the conformity of received materials, including periodic inspections and resolution of deviations.
Materials and Chemical Handling: Development and implementation of protocols for the handling, storage, and control of sensitive chemicals and materials, aligned with internal and external regulations.
Staff Training and Supervision: Continuous training of the operational team in good receiving practices, material identification, and chemical storage safety, promoting a culture of responsibility and compliance.
Technical Analysis and Reporting: Preparation of detailed reports based on test results, data analysis, and operational metrics, proposing corrective actions and process improvements.
Multidisciplinary Interaction: Collaborative work with departments such as Production, Operational Excellence, Development, and Industrial Safety to ensure the quality, safety, and traceability of materials.
Resource and Budget Management: Control of supplies, tools, and operational equipment, as well as administration of department budgets, with proposals for improvement and cost optimization.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date on laws, regulations, and industry standards (especially related to industrial safety, inventory control, and chemical storage management), ensuring compliance with all applicable requirements.
Minimum Required Profile:
Academic Qualifications: Postgraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum of two years of proven experience in similar positions within the operations, logistics, or industrial sectors.
Technical Knowledge:
Advanced handling of ERP systems, preferably SAP (WM/IM modules), desirable.
Strong knowledge of inventory and quality control.
Familiarity with safety regulations, rules, and protocols applicable to the handling of materials and chemicals.
