JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for the on-site execution of the technical training plan for plant maintenance personnel, ensuring the development and certification of competencies related to critical equipment and assets. This role directly supports operational reliability, reduces failures associated with human error, and strengthens maintenance practices aligned with ISO 55000 and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards, while ensuring full compliance with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (SHE) requirements.
FUNTIONS

Deliver technical training sessions both in the field and in classroom settings, focused on plant maintenance, WCM, and RCM, in accordance with the plan defined by the Training Leader.

Conduct practical assessments and competency certification processes for critical equipment and assets, ensuring consistent, traceable, and standardized technical criteria.

Identify, document, and report technical competency gaps within maintenance personnel, proposing corrective actions aligned with area KPIs.

Provide on-the-job technical coaching during the execution of critical maintenance activities, reinforcing best practices in maintenance, lubrication, and failure analysis.

Support and coordinate technical training sessions with equipment manufacturers and specialized suppliers (OEMs), including logistics, training content, and follow-up.

Develop, update, and safeguard training materials, simulations, checklists, and supporting evidence associated with the Competency Matrix.

Record and maintain up-to-date information on training activities, evaluations, and certifications within the systems defined by the organization.

Ensure strict compliance with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards throughout all training and on-site coaching activities.
EDUCATION
COMPLEMENTARY EDUCATION
GENERAL EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or mining maintenance, preferably within processing plant environments.

Previous experience working in high-criticality operational environments, with exposure to industrial safety standards and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) controls.

Proven experience interacting with operational and technical personnel, promoting skills development through hands-on, practical learning environments.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE

At least 2 to 3 years of experience in technical training roles, on-the-job training, knowledge transfer, or operational coaching.

Demonstrated experience delivering hands-on training on processing plant equipment such as mills, crushers, and associated systems.

Participation in technical competency assessment and certification processes for maintenance personnel.

Experience applying basic RCM methodologies, failure analysis techniques, and lubrication best practices.

Experience working in coordination with equipment manufacturers and specialized suppliers (OEMs) to deliver technical training or provide on-site support.

Proficiency in using management systems to record and track training activities and competency evidence.
