Purpose of the position:
Receive, store, and dispatch the fuel necessary to meet operational needs.

Duties:
Coordinate and supervise the receipt and dispatch of fuels required for site operations.
Maximize efficiency and best practices in fuel operational management.
Ensure that a high level of quality control is maintained in all storage tanks, vehicles, and fuel products, as required by regulatory authorities.
Keep and maintain records of fuel storage and supply equipment and all associated vehicles and tanks, including daily, weekly, and monthly accounting of all fuel transfers and deliveries.
Dispatch fuel, refuel transport vehicles, under the supervision of the Logistics Superintendent and the Warehouse Coordinator.
Receive fuel pumped from trucks to the tank(s), measuring both ends, and report any shortfalls/overflows
Operate transfer pumps to dispatch fuel
Ensure proper approvals are in place before dispatching fuel
Measure stored fuel daily 

Report fuel discrepancies, if any.
Follow established procedures and safety regulations.
Ensure that dispatch notes are issued correctly and deliver them to the materials group at the end of the day.
Manage self-development.
Wear appropriate clothing to protect yourself from workplace hazards.
Use protective equipment when necessary.
Practice personal hygiene while in the field.
Learn and practice all company policies related to material handling.
Understand and comply with company policies and procedures related to:
Safety.
Fuel and material handling.
Perform additional tasks assigned by the Logistics Superintendent, Warehouse Coordinator, or designated person.
