ROLE PURPOSE:
Provide technical support to the Metallurgy area within the Process Plant, assisting in operational control, metallurgical data analysis, and document management, contributing to process performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support in the collection, preparation, and organization of metallurgical samples for analysis.
• Assist in the analysis of operational process data (recovery, grades, consumptions, etc.) and in the preparation of trends and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Update and maintain metallurgical databases.
• Prepare and support the issuance of weekly and/or monthly metallurgical reports.
• Update procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation for the area.
• Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Metallurgy department.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Currently enrolled student in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Outstanding academic record.
• Flexible schedule availability in accordance with the internship program.
• Availability to work on-site at the Process Plant.
• Basic technical English knowledge is desirable.
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, data analysis).
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
• No previous experience required.
