JOB PURPOSE
The Miner 2 position is designed so that, within the Mine Structure projection plan, the employee begins by operating utility service equipment. As they gain operating hours and experience in underground operations, their responsibilities and the complexity of their tasks will increase, including the operation of more complex equipment. They may also progress from being a drill rig assistant (Simba, Cabletec, Easer, Jumbo, or Boltec) to operating such equipment.

FUNCTIONS
Operate utility service equipment safely and efficiently, increasing the complexity of tasks as they gain experience.

Perform daily care and maintenance of the equipment.

Submit daily activity reports, taking into account environmental and operational conditions.

Strictly adhere to the Mine Safety Values ​​(MSV), considering the high-risk conditions in the mine.

Depending on the operations area (Services, Development, or Production), work as an assistant operator for Simba, Cabletec, Easer, Jumbo, or Boltec drilling rigs.

Follow the equipment operator's instructions at all times, with the authority to use the "STOP and THINK" tag if safety conditions warrant it.

Strictly comply with the procedures associated with the activities performed.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

EDUCATION
High school diploma
GENERAL EXPERIENCE
3-5 years of experience

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE
Preferably at least 1 year of experience in related functions (surface).

At least 2 years of experience in underground mining.

Ability to understand instructions and procedures.

At least 1 year of experience operating equipment (minimum 100 hours of training).

Proficiency in operating: Fuel Truck, Telehandler, Roller, and McLean.

KNOWLEDGE
Ability to work in remote areas and underground environments.
Experience with underground and surface mining equipment and machinery.

LICENSES
Type G License: For agricultural machinery, heavy machinery, and road construction equipment (tractors, graders, backhoes, forklifts, mechanical shovels, and others).
Type B License: Allows driving cars and pickup trucks with trailers up to 1.75 tons of payload.
