JOB PURPOSE
The Mine Maintenance Planner manages the overall maintenance plan for the underground fleet, aiming to maximize availability and minimize maintenance costs. To achieve this, they must align the planning process with the maintenance department's needs. This professional is responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of the underground equipment fleet.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the underground fleet maintenance plan (managing Routing Sheets in SAP).

Manage the standardization of maintenance activities.

Conduct ongoing periodic reviews of maintenance guidelines to ensure the maintenance plan complies with manufacturers' recommendations and covers schedules, equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and inspections.

Continuously improve and update the maintenance plan based on the history of failures encountered and analyzed.

Identify resource risks for the development of the Maintenance Plan and manage contingency actions.

Control component replacement to maximize the value delivered by the equipment to the organization (Cost per hour worked).

Evaluate maintenance notifications and create planned work orders from work requests (notifications).

Audit estimated dates, man-hours, and materials required to execute planned work orders.

Systematically evaluate and manage requests for new materials to be incorporated into MRP. Analyze material consumption and manage changes to consumption points.

Develop a monthly Maintenance Plan based on the 52-week Maintenance Plan and equipment production requirements.

Coordinate with different departments for the proper execution of maintenance plans and strategic decision-making.

Develop and/or monitor the status of the major component replacement program.

Coordinate the monitoring of equipment in the field through data analysis and download (SAP) and its correct and organized storage on the corresponding dates.

Responsible for maintaining the maintenance history of each piece of equipment.

Coordinate maintenance services with external providers.

Collaborate closely with other departments, such as production, purchasing, and logistics, to ensure the smooth execution of maintenance activities.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

EDUCATION
Completed university studies in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

GENERAL EXPERIENCE
3-5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the maintenance of fixed or mobile equipment.

Desirable experience in the maintenance of mining industry equipment, and at least 3 years as a maintenance planner.

Proficiency in Planning and Scheduling processes, according to ISO 55000 best practices.

Experience in underground mining (Desirable).

Experience working with CAT and Epiroc brand equipment (Desirable).

Advanced knowledge of the SAP PM module (at least 3 years).

Practical knowledge of the equipment, materials, and tools used in the industry.

Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Proficient in PC and computer skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

KNOWLEDGE
Ability to work at heights and in extreme and varied weather conditions.
