SUPERINTENDENTE DE FINANZAS - FINANCE SUPERINTENDENT

Purpose of the position:

The Finance Manager is responsible for all aspects of finance, including accounting, tax, treasury, and financial planning and analysis, ensuring compliance with service and/or operational standards (internal and/or external).

Functions:

·         Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate all finance-related functions, including accounting, taxation, treasury, and financial planning and analysis;

·         Develop and implement financial policies, procedures and systems;

·         Prepare monthly reports, summaries and other profitability analyses and financial management reports or coordinate their preparation;

·         Coordinate the financial planning and budgeting process;

·         Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting practices, and investment initiatives and propose changes to procedures, operating systems, and other financial control functions;

·         Hire, organize, train and manage personnel under your responsibility;

·         Alert and inform senior management of all critical trends regarding Fruta del Norte's financial results;

·         Ensure the department's compliance with Ecuadorian government requirements, environmental legislation, shareholder health and safety, and company regulations.

Minimum Profile Required:

Academic

The candidate has a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

The CPA title is an important resource.

Experience​

Minimum of 10 years of experience and a recognized professional accounting designation in the development, implementation, and administration of an IT and data management system.

A solid background in management and business principles, as well as advanced training in other technical fields, will be an asset.

Previous experience in mining will be valued.

Experience with the SAP system will be valued.

Languages:

Fluency in spoken and written English, and Spanish.
