Fruta del Norte (FDN) is one of the largest and highest-grade gold deposits in the world currently in production. The Company has an experienced mining operations team dedicated to advancing FDN responsibly. In the fourth quarter of 2019, Lundin Gold achieved its first gold production, as well as its first export of gold concentrate and doré. In the first quarter of 2020, FDN reached commercial production. 1. Purpose of the Position: To lead the comprehensive project management of the mine department, ensuring the proper definition, planning, execution, and control of strategic and continuous improvement initiatives, aligned with the organization's operational, financial, and safety objectives, through the application of best project management practices and cross-functional coordination with operational and corporate areas. This role serves as a liaison between the mine department and the Operational Excellence (EO) area of ​​the general management.

2. Functions:
Define and establish the most appropriate PMO model based on the nature and complexity of the mine projects.
Design the organizational structure of the projects area, defining team roles, responsibilities, and functions.
Strategically lead the mine project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Design, plan, execute, and control mining projects using project management methodologies and standards.

Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and benefit analyses for each project.
Ensure compliance with schedules, budgets, scope, and technical objectives for assigned projects.
Manage the projects area budget, promoting operational efficiency and cost control.
Supervise and coordinate contractors, consultants, and suppliers involved in mining projects.
Identify and promote opportunities for continuous improvement, fostering a culture of optimization and efficiency in the mine.
Lead project follow-up meetings and prepare reports and executive presentations for management.
Monitor the allocation and utilization of resources associated with projects.
Prepare progress reports, performance analyses, and lessons learned documentation.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses related to projects under your responsibility, defining corrective and preventive actions. Verify and approve administrative controls related to your team (attendance, resources, document compliance) in a timely manner.
Develop and communicate policies, procedures, and standards applicable to the projects area.
Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, health, and safety regulations applicable to mining projects.
Coordinate with operational and technical areas for the effective and safe implementation of projects.

6. Required Profile:
Academic:

Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.

Specialization or Master's degree in Project Management (desirable).
PMP certification or equivalent (desirable).

Experience:

8 years of experience in the mining industry managing projects.
Minimum 5 years in senior or project coordination/leadership positions.
Experience in underground mining.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
Experience in cost control, planning, and strategic project management. 7. Specific Required Skills
Comprehensive project management using PMI or similar methodologies.
Development of business cases and technical-economic evaluation of projects.
Planning and control of schedules and budgets.
Risk management and change control.
Knowledge of underground mining operations.
