Purpose of the position:
To comply with the operation's maintenance schedule. Complying with company procedures, policies, and standards.
Functions:
Administration and leadership
Inspect work areas, identifying unsafe conditions and their controls.
Apply and maintain the 5S culture in all facilities under your responsibility.
Ensure that the appropriate tools are available and used for the tasks.
Ensure the integrity of laboratory calibration instruments.
Advanced reading and interpretation of P&ID diagrams.
Reading and interpretation of technical manuals for equipment and instruments.
Knowledge of methods for calibration and configuration of analytical instruments such as pH meters, flow meters, process instruments, and gas detectors.
Advanced knowledge of the use of measuring equipment: multimeters, process calibrators.
Knowledge of Hart analog and digital signals.
Promoting and correcting improvements in operating procedures.
Safety and protection
Contributing to inspections in work areas, identifying unsafe conditions and their controls.
Reviewing and correcting risk assessment matrices for different tasks.
Ensuring that activities related to personal safety are a priority in work plans.
Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities:

Minimum Required Profile:
Academic
Must be at least an electrical or electronic technologist or instrument technician. However, ideally, the candidate should be an engineer so that they can obtain an Occupational Health and Safety license in electricity, certifying that they can operate 230KV, as required by the Ecuadorian government.
Experience
Minimum of 4 years' experience
