JOB PURPOSE

Comply with the maintenance program of the operation, in accordance with company procedures, policies, and standards.

FUNTIONS

- Inspect work areas, identifying unsafe conditions and controls.
- Apply and maintain 5S culture in all assigned facilities.
- Ensure availability and proper use of tools.
- Ensure the integrity of laboratory calibration instruments.
- Advanced reading and interpretation of P&ID diagrams.
- Reading and interpretation of technical equipment and instrument manuals.
- Knowledge of calibration and configuration methods for analytical instruments such as pH meters, flow meters, process instruments, and gas detectors.
- Advanced knowledge in using measuring equipment: multimeters, process calibrators.
- Knowledge of analog (Hart) and digital signals.
- Promote and implement improvements to operational procedures.

EDUCATION

Completed Technical High School en ELECTRICITY AND ELECTRONICS

GENERAL EXPERIENCE

3-5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE

Minimum 4 years of experience

Technical and Regulatory Knowledge

  • Medium-level electronics

  • Interpretation of electrical and electronic diagrams (P&ID)

  • Intermediate automatic control systems

  • Advanced computing (hardware and software)

  • Technical equipment documentation

  • Control loops

  • Sensors and actuators

KNOWLEDGE

Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of local and international safety standards and regulations.

CERTIFICATIONS

Electrical Occupational Risk License – required for 230KV operation (Ecuador)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Must legally be at least an Electrical or Electronic Technologist or Instrumentation Technician. Ideally, should be an Engineer to obtain the Electrical Occupational Risk License (required to operate 230KV in Ecuador).
