Purpose of the position:
•    Comply with the maintenance schedule for the operation. Comply with company procedures, policies, and standards.
Duties:
•    Inspect work areas, identifying unsafe conditions and their controls.
•    Apply and maintain the 5S culture in all facilities under your responsibility. 
•    Ensure that the appropriate tools are available and used for the tasks. 
•    Ensure the integrity of laboratory calibration instruments.  
•    Advanced reading and interpretation of P&ID drawings.  
•    Reading and interpretation of technical manuals for equipment and instruments. 
•    Knowledge of methods for calibrating and configuring analytical instruments such as pH meters, flow meters, process instruments, and gas detectors. 
•    Advanced knowledge of the use of measuring equipment: multimeters, process calibrators.  
•    Knowledge of Hart analog and digital signals.  
•    Promote and correct improvements in operating procedures. 
•    Safety and protection. 
•    Contribute to inspections in work areas, identifying unsafe conditions and their controls.  
•    Review and correct risk assessment matrices for different tasks.  
•    Ensure that activities related to personal safety are a priority in work plans.
Minimum Required Profile:
Academic
•    Must be at least an electrical or electronic technologist or instrument technician. However, ideally, the candidate should be an engineer so that they can obtain an Occupational Hazards license in electricity, certifying that they can operate 230KV, as required by the Ecuadorian government.
Experience
•    Minimum of 4 years of experience in similar positions.
Specific knowledge required 
•    Technical knowledge necessary to perform the job. 
•    Intermediate electronics. 
•    Interpretation of electrical and electronic diagrams (P&ID). 
•    Intermediate knowledge of automatic control. 
•    Advanced computer skills (hardware and software).
